ManeDeck ("we") provides apps and a website for horse owners, farriers, and barns to keep horse records, schedule and pay for services, and manage care.

What we collect

• Account: name, email, phone, role (owner/farrier/vet/barn).
• Your content: horses, health/care records, documents, photos, expenses, appointments, and messages you create.
• Barn business and rider information: contact addresses and phone numbers; rider and guardian details, birth dates, and optional rider medical or safety notes; booking and calendar details; lesson and training packages and credits; receipt images, income, expenses, tax details, payroll, and financial reports; forms, signatures, and other content you choose to enter. Access is limited by your role and the sharing choices made by authorized people.
• Payments: processed by Stripe; we store payment status and references, not full card numbers.
• Device: push-notification tokens and basic app diagnostics.
• Subscriptions and account identifiers: account IDs and purchase history are processed by RevenueCat to verify subscriptions and measure subscription performance. Apple or Google handles mobile purchase billing. We do not collect your full payment-card number from their purchase sheets.
• Signup location: we derive and store city, state, and country from the signup request's IP address for geographic analytics. Directory searches, including queries and the location you choose to submit, may remain in standard security access logs.
• Directory and inquiries: the service requested, location, contact details, message, consent record, listing contacted, source page, referral page, and campaign attribution you submit. If you choose “Use my location,” ManeDeck rounds your current coordinates to two decimal places and sends only that approximate location to its directory search to calculate nearby results; the coordinates are not placed in the page URL or attached to your account, though the request may remain temporarily in standard security logs.
• Professional listings and reviews: provider-supplied business identity, service area, services, availability, verification evidence and status, photos, listing activity, and customer-submitted ratings or review text.

How we use it

To operate the service: store your records, enforce the access choices you and your barn make, send reminders/notifications, enable booking and payments between you and the pros you choose, route directory inquiries with your consent, verify and maintain provider listings, prevent abuse, measure campaign and product performance, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

Horse records are shared only with parties you or an authorized barn manager explicitly grant access to, within the selected feed, care, appointment, update, health-summary, document, or billing scope. A directory inquiry may be shared with the selected or relevant provider only after you consent on the form. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We use service providers for hosting, email, text messages (SMS), push notifications, analytics, and support under contract.

Your choices

Optional AI and OpenAI: before sending an AI request, ManeDeck explains the data sharing and asks you to allow it using an unchecked choice. With your permission, your messages, selected receipt images, and records needed to answer your request are sent to OpenAI. These records stay within your current access rights and may contain personal, financial, or health details you included. OpenAI processes them to answer the request. Only share information you are authorized to share. You can leave AI off and keep using other ManeDeck tools, or uncheck the choice to stop future AI requests. This does not retract data already sent. OpenAI's handling is described in its privacy information. Barn receipt OCR uses server-side text recognition; it does not send the receipt to an external AI provider. The separate horse-expense AI receipt tool uses OpenAI only with your permission.

You can edit or delete your data in the app, revoke horse-sharing or payment authorization, change boarder visibility, pause a directory listing, and opt out of marketing at any time. Every marketing email includes a one-step unsubscribe. You can request account deletion in the app or at our account deletion page. Security & retention

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We retain records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Financial ledgers, consent/authorization evidence, fraud/security records, audit history, and suppression records may be retained longer where needed to meet legal, accounting, dispute, safety, or do-not-contact obligations. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal data that does not need to be retained for those purposes.

Children

ManeDeck is not directed to children under 13.
