ManeDeck ("we") provides apps and a website for horse owners, farriers, and barns to keep horse records, schedule and pay for services, and manage care.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, phone, role (owner/farrier/vet/barn).
- Your content: horses, health/care records, documents, photos, expenses, appointments, and messages you create.
- Payments: processed by Stripe; we store payment status and references, not full card numbers.
- Device: push-notification tokens and basic app diagnostics.
- Directory and inquiries: the service requested, location, contact details, message, consent record, listing contacted, source page, referral page, and campaign attribution you submit. If you choose “Use my location,” ManeDeck rounds your current coordinates to two decimal places and sends only that approximate location to its directory search to calculate nearby results; the coordinates are not placed in the page URL or attached to your account, though the request may remain temporarily in standard security logs.
- Professional listings and reviews: provider-supplied business identity, service area, services, availability, verification evidence and status, photos, listing activity, and customer-submitted ratings or review text.
How we use it
To operate the service: store your records, enforce the access choices you and your barn make, send reminders/notifications, enable booking and payments between you and the pros you choose, route directory inquiries with your consent, verify and maintain provider listings, prevent abuse, measure campaign and product performance, and provide support. We do not sell your personal data.
Sharing
Horse records are shared only with parties you or an authorized barn manager explicitly grant access to, within the selected feed, care, appointment, update, health-summary, document, or billing scope. A directory inquiry may be shared with the selected or relevant provider only after you consent on the form. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We use service providers for hosting, email, push notifications, analytics, and support under contract.
Your choices
You can edit or delete your data in the app, revoke horse-sharing or payment authorization, change boarder visibility, pause a directory listing, and opt out of marketing at any time. Every marketing email includes a one-step unsubscribe. You can request account deletion in the app or at our account deletion page. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to support@manedeck.com.
Security & retention
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). We retain records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Financial ledgers, consent/authorization evidence, fraud/security records, audit history, and suppression records may be retained longer where needed to meet legal, accounting, dispute, safety, or do-not-contact obligations. Account deletion removes or anonymizes personal data that does not need to be retained for those purposes.
Children
ManeDeck is not directed to children under 13.
